How To Play Sling Drift
The controls couldn’t be simpler. Hold the left mouse button, spacebar, or tap the screen to drift. Release to stop drifting and continue straight. That’s it.
When you approach a corner, you’ll see an orange pivot point on the inside of the turn. Hold down to attach your sling to it. Your car will swing around the corner for as long as you keep holding. The longer you hold, the sharper the drift. Release at the right moment to straighten out and head into the next section.
Timing is everything. If you release too early, you’ll drift wide and crash into the outer edge. If you hold too long, you’ll spin too far and lose control. The key is finding that sweet spot where your car exits the turn cleanly and stays centred on the track.
As you play, you’ll collect diamonds that can be used to unlock new cars from the menu. The cars look different but handle the same, so it’s mostly cosmetic. The real goal is seeing how far you can get and how many perfect drifts you can chain together.
